Students from Sierra High School’s Future Farmers of America club had the opportunity to participate in both the Delta Cal Sectional Speech Contest and the Arbuckle FFA Field Day earlier this month.

The FFA class, led by Amy Bohlken, develops students’ potential leadership skills, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.

Those whose choose to participate in FFA and agricultural education will strengthen American agriculture by providing the leadership to build healthy local communities, a strong nation, and a sustainable world.

Both the competitions comprised of multiple contests to test the students’ knowledge and strengths within the agriculture world.
