CRYSTAL CREAMERY SALUTES DEL CAMPO AND EAST UNION FOOTBALL TEAMS WITH ITS FIRST GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD

Milk Carton Recognizing “Vinny for the TD” Available During Super Bowl Week

MODESTO, Calif. (January 30, 2017) – Rarely is the last play of a football game memorable when one of the teams is leading by six touchdowns but the actions of Del Campo High School’s head coach, Mike Dimino, East Union High School’s head coach, Willie Herrera, and their teams on that last play of the Division III playoff game on a cold November night was the highlight of Sac-Joaquin Section’s 2016 football season and a memory that will last with players, coaches and fans for a lifetime.

“All of us at Crystal Creamery were so impressed by Vinny’s touchdown that we wanted to recognize the coaches, players and schools that made it all possible,” said Frank Otis, president and chief executive officer of Crystal Creamery. He added, “We have always recognized the success of Sac-Joaquin Section students on the field and in the classroom on our commemorative milk cartons and we knew we needed to recognize Del Campo and East Union’s football teams for showcasing outstanding sportsmanship and competing with honor.”
