Saturday School

The next Saturday School will be held on ________  from 8:00-12:00 in the library. Bring homework or something to read.  School rules and dress code apply. Doors will be locked at 8:00am!


Lockers (Grades 9-11)

9- 11th graders Locker clean out will be on Friday. If you need your combination please come to the attendance office and ask for it!


Students:  Starting Monday, May 22 you will NOT be able to charge a lunch.   We will be serving lunch during break on Finals and Monday.

Dress Code

With spring in the air and the temperatures rising, please remember that dress code is still enforced.  This includes shirts, shorts, pants and hats.  If you have questions about what is permitted and what is not, please see someone in the office. 

Tablet/Laptop Summer Collection 

Attention students:  ALL FILES on your tablets/laptops will be deleted this summer!  If you want your pictures and documents saved, please save them to a flashdrive, upload them to Onedrive, or use some other cloud storage.  For assistance, please see go to the Tech Center.

2017-2018 Class Schedules

All bills and fines must be paid in full and textbooks/devices must be returned in order for students to receive their class schedules  for next year!  Please check student email accounts for outstanding textbook/device fines or contact Samantha Hein.  For outstanding administrative fines, please contact Terra Garcia.  

Parking Passes

All students must park vehicles in the student parking lot with a current parking pass.  Parking passes can be obtained in the office with Linda. All vehicles MUST have a valid pass.  Please DO NOT park on surface streets in the residential areas.  Drive safely please!

Yearbook Staff Applications for next year are available in room 1. If you want to be on the 2018 staff, stop by and pick one up.



Seniors your locker clean out will be Thursday before the Senior Breakfast if you need your combo or no longer need your locker please come to the attendance office! 

Final Transcripts

Attn. Seniors: It’s time to order your final transcripts through Parchment. Sign into your Parchment account select the college you want your final transcript sent to then instead of send now select hold for grades. Once transcripts are update with 4th quarter grades your transcript will be sent to the college you selected. If you have any questions, see Paula in the registrar’s office. 

Sober Grad Tickets

Attention all Seniors:  Sober Grad will be held at John's Incredible Pizza in Modesto on May 25 from 10:30pm-3:30pm.  Sober Grad Tickets will be on sale during the month of May, every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during lunch and after school in front of room 51.   Bring your signed contract and $50 cash.  Don’t miss out on all the fun, and prizes!  The Sober Grad Committee will also be drawing for several free tickets.  Be sure and listen for your name during future announcements.  Good luck to all! 


Boys Tennis

Any students interested in playing SHS Boys Tennis next season:  Come to our Summer practices June 5-July 20 on Tuesday/Thursday mornings from 9am-11am.  Meet at our tennis courts behind the gym.  For more information, please see Coach Duke in Room 29.

Counseling Center

SJDC American Sign Language Course

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: Delta College will be offering a free class for Delta College credits on our SHS campus next fall. The class being offered is American Sign Language on Monday and Wednesday’s 3-5pm. You will need to complete the Delta College application and take their assessments. Please see your counselor with any questions regarding how to apply to Delta College.
